Borders never meant a single thing to Tawnyowl his entire life and yet somehow, he'd never stepped foot in DayClan's territory before. It was quite possibly the only clan he could actively explore without any repercussions because they didn't care. Or scratch that, they welcomed outsiders so long as they didn't hunt or gather there. So why he waited so long to finally cross over was a total mystery. Maybe it had a little bit to do with Bloodycrow's reign and all that, but generally, a mystery.
Wild brown fur mixed with yellow paint, sloppily applied and barely visible, the SunClan warrior padded through DayClan's territory. He hugged the border regardless of everything, just in case he was somehow mistaken and DayClan cats turned out to be savage, bloodthirsty beasts. But assuming they were as friendly as he'd heard, Tawnyowl was hoping to run into someone willing to give him a proper tour.
Hunting nearby, Snakeroothaven's disappointment was immeasurable when he smelled a rank scent nearby. He looked up from his position by the riverbank and fixed his yellow gaze on the warrior creeping around the borders.
"Oi, sunshine, make up your mind, you coming in or not?" His voice was gruff but not hostile as he stared Tawnyowl down. DayClan didn't defend their borders and he wasn't going to be the only one to try. If SunClan wanted to drag their smelly hides up and down the territory, that was their prerogative, but creeping back and forth along the border was just cowardly.
