Wisteriapaw had just been considering drifting off to sleep... but this seemed far more interesting. He did not follow because he couldn't say no, but because he didn't want to say no. She was pushier than most but maybe she just wanted to flex her warrior power. He didn't really care why. "What work is it to be done today? That was an unusual request from a cat who is not even your own apprentice," It would be fun to egg her on a little and maybe he'd actually get an answer.

He shrugged, carrying the leaf as ordered. She was upright and this was a weird request. Maybe he'd get to see something interesting though. It was almost too tempting not to open the leaf. Or throw it somewhere just out of reach... maybe later. He continued to follow, not able to talk with the leaf in his mouth. That part was a bit annoying to him.

His eyes widened at the creature and a smily spread across his face slowly. It was one of curiosity and chaos. "Oh you bet we're gonna catch that thing." There was a mischievous glint in his eyes and for once, a rare feeling of excitement spread over him. He was certainly seeing the cat in a new light. "Do you have a plan already?"

"You're lucky I know how to swim," He laughed. She was crazy. This was awesome. "Where do you want me?"

"Your plan better work." He laughed again. There was no threat or anything nefarious in his tone but he didn't really want to die either. They'd cross that bridge when they got to it. If they got to it. "Let me know when you're positioned and ready and I'll start flailing!"

He took a deep breath and then put on a show the sun, the moon, and sky could be embarrassed about. The full white tom flopped and failed, almost appearing as if he was dying. It was an ugly, horrid dance of death. And it was so much fun. He made some gurgling sounds. His heart pounded. Under the water, he opened his eyes, looking around for this so called monster fish. He was not trying to lose a limb. He didn't see anything so he kept thrashing. Suddenly, there was a sound nearby and he started flailing closer to where he would be able to quickly jump to safety.

He stopped, only taking a moment to gather his muscles and jump out of the water. He was halfway on top of the log when pain shot through him and suddenly he was yanked back into the water. Wisteriapaw's mismatched eyes went wide as he slammed into the shallow water. He gasped for air and used a paw to swipe at the creature. It released him and he jumped up on the log, glancing at his tail to find most of the hair had been stripped from about halfway down. Ridiculous. "It's strong!" He called to havenroots

"I dont know anyone as crazy as us willing to do something like this, do you?" He grinned at her, breathing a little heavily from exertion and excitement. His tail stinging where'd he'd been scratched. "At least not in this clan. Dingopaw in Swiftclan is probably crazy enough to help us."
