Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. Foxbane shook her head. "I wouldn't be so sure. It's definitely possible you're right, but she's not so vindictive that she'd use whatever we tell her to hurt SunClan. The worst that happens is she wants to be left out of it, and we find a new lead." Would Autumngossamer want to get involved with SunClan? No, probably not. But general advice she juuust might be willing to give, a push in the right direction, and that was more than enough.

"Very well, I trust your judgment..." Littlestar paused, looking down at her feet. Looking a little less like the High Priestess, and more of the kit that Foxstar had once taken in under her wing. Full of doubts and worries, like the entire world rested on her shoulders "Anything is better than sitting around and just waiting..."

"Besides, I'm leader of DayClan with Glowstar now. She probably wouldn't intentionally try to hurt any status of hers in DayClan by causing more problems for me." Foxstar commented, touching her nose gently to Littlestar's ear. "Never thought I'd see a day where we both carry 'star' at the same time, but here we are I suppose."

“Wait, your what?” Littlestar blinked, trying to process what she had just been told. Getting married to to Glowstar was one thing, but becoming leader was quite another “How did manage to pull that one off? DayClan hated you worse than they currently hate me…. They don’t seem like the type to just accept you as their leader just because you are mates with Glowstar”

"When Glowstar proposed, she asked me to become leader at her side. After Fia's disappearance, she and I had a talk about me becoming Immortal Council, but that never came to fruition. She announced to DayClan a short while ago that I would lead at her side, to a lot less resistance than I expected. But I'm not too surprised. When we thought Glow was dead, there was a vote for who should lead DayClan in her place. I came in third." Foxstar explained, only just seeming to consider that Littlestar didn't know any of the context around this situation.

"Third?" Littlestar chuckled, quite surprised at the news but happy for her "I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Besides Glowstar, there are few cats there capable of stepping up into the role of leadership. Though you will have to explain later why such a vote was needed"
