Havenroots looked over her two brothers, her paws lifting up to her muzzle trying to contain her laughter. Their fur was slicked down and painted, they look meticulously well groomed and presentable for this evening's family dinner like they were trying to impress someone "You two realize it's just mom and dad, and our younger siblings going, right? Why do you look like you are about to get married or something" Her own fur was quite in disarray, the white and silver strands tangled, and dried mud flecked onto her paws. She didn't looked presentable for morning prayers much less a formal family dinner. Her mother had been putting a lot of pressure on her lately to act more like a lady and to settle down with a mate, but she hadn't showed any signs of that. In fact the harder her mother pushed, the more rebellious she seemed to be becoming NovaHoneystorm
"This is the first family dinner in.... I don't know." Handsomeking commented, straightening his fur anxiously. He didn't particularly like the fact that Cherrypaw wasn't going with, and he suspected she didn't either, but at least she hadn't tried to kill his family for it... yet. Honestly, he half hoped she'd just decide she was coming with anyway. He was so used to her presence that being without her obsessive presence was unnerving. "You look like you crawled out of a mud puddle, I don't think you should be grilling us on how we look."

Havenpaw rolled her eyes "Mom threatens to murder dad on a daily basis and she hasn't done it yet. I have a theory that is how she expresses her love. Anyway, that doesn't scare me"

"I don't think will be enough... We could always drag them there?" Havenpaw suggested "I have been practicing out how to tie someone up with some vines... Then all we would need is a big stick"
"But then they'll look like a mess, and mom will definitely notice that. We have to get them to willingly come along." He shook his head. "Maybe we could just tie the rope around their neck and drag them that way?"

"I mean It might work... Its how mom gets them to go any were, but I think that if we do that dad will just slip out of the vine and take off. I think he only goes along with it, because he likes when mom bosses them around"
