A young apprentice, Burnishedpaw, has disappeared. With the mysterious deaths that have already occurred it is even more important to find the young cat before something happens to him. He was last seen headed towards the DayClan border going to hunt, but he never returned. Concerned about the apprentice's welfare but unable to leave her newborns, Soaringlight and Dancinglight are sent to investigate and to find him. Dead or alive.
