Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

Littlestar had tried giving her children time and space, but neither of which seemed to have made any difference. So she had invited her children, the ones Bloodystar had taken from her, for a little get together. A chance for them to ask her and Skipstep questions if they wanted to. To just spend some time together without any pressure from their birth parents. As much as she wanted to dive right in and start asking them questions, this wasn't the time. She nervously adjusted the arrangement of the food she had prepared as she and Skipstep waited on them to arrive "Do you think any of them will show up?"
Skipstep wanted to be hopeful, but he wasn't sure. He wasn't sure what would make this better, what would convince their children that they loved them, and they just wanted them to know it. It would be ideal if they could be a family again, but... Skipstep was so uncertain of what was best for them.
But he recalled what Goldenstar had told him when he'd scolded him in his dreams. 'A lion must be strong and ready to endure for the sake of his pride'
So Skipstep would endeavor to do just that. "We can only hope." He said. "If we try to force them they'll never come." He said. "We did everything right I think. We didn't spring this on them, we didn't have anyone else try to sneak them to us, we were open and it's an open invitation."
But he did so hope they'd come.

Resilientbloom already knew she was going to go speak with her parents. She had never stopped loving her mother, but her connection to her father was... shaky at best.
And with the new litter being born and seeing her parents shower the litter with such love and affection. Affection she'd wanted but been denied while being frayed at the seams. Her childhood robbed from her as she was made a janus, and though since her demotion the memories were vague she knew distantly, like a dream you could only vaguely remember. That she'd been able to reach her mother still.
IT was especially hard for her siblings so she went looking for Ferventprayer first to see if she'd be going. racer

"We can only hope..." she agreed. How many nights had she lied awake worrying about them? Praying that they would be reunited once more. Only to return to find her children wanted nothing to do with her... Even after how hard she had fought to get back to them. At this point, what happened next was in their paws. She wouldn't force herself into their lives, it was something that they would have to choose for themselves. It was going to take time and patience, but for no w all the could do was be open and ready to welcome them when the choice was made, a willingness to accept their decision even if it was difficult. Some of them may never come around to allowing her and Skipstep into their lives, a hard to swallow reality. Jetclaw
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ferventprayer wasn't ready to face her parents, at least not on her own.
She was still reeling from Bloodystar's betrayal, trying to understand why her father had hurt her.. She had tried to justify his behavior, even defend it, but each time she spoke of it her mate would cut her arguments into pieces. He didn't understand the love and loyalty she felt towards Bloodystar, and kept pushing for her to accept that it hadn't been her fault... It just wasn't that easy though, to let go of all the guilt and lies that had been placed upon her shoulders. Now with the most recent development she was even more scared than before, retreating away from almost everyone.
"We shouldn't go. You and I owe those two nothing," Perfectstorm said to Ferventprayer, placing his paw over hers. Of his littermates she was the one he was closest to and that was of course because the two of them remained largely devoted to Bloodystar even after his betrayal. Perfectstorm more than his sister, but still, they both had shaky loyalties to SunClan's new leadership and that was enough to unite them, "But if you do want to go... I will be there for you. I won't let them manipulate you." racer
