The tortie sat quietly for a moments, just taking in his scent as she tried to calm to the storm of her own mind. What he said made sense, so why did it make her so uncomfortable? But digging deeper she knew why... She had trusted her father entirely, and he only took advantage of that trust to use her. She was afraid of being hurt like that again.. Knowing it would destroy what was left of her
"I don't want to talk about this anymore" she mewed softly
"That's fine." Tenebrousrequiem assured her, nuzzling her and letting out a soft purr in hopes it might soothe her. "Let's go take a walk, we can maybe find a quiet spot to curl up before the sun rises and try to get some rest. Or we can get our day started a little earlier." He added rising to his paws, and waving his tail. "But if there's anything you want to talk about or anything difficult you ever need to, don't hesitate. My advice might not always.... well help, you know I'm more of a 'I'll fight off your enemies in a heartbeat' then a 'emotionally intelligent and well spoken cat'. But I can definitely listen!"

She nodded, glad that they were moving on from the rather charged topic. He was so easy to be with, except when they brought up her father. It was the one thing they didnt agree on, even if she knew he was coming from a place of love. She couldn't just set aside her emotions so easily. She leaned up against him rising to her paws "Yes, you do always listen" she booped his nose softly "even when I know I anger you. You always listen"
