He could almost always be found at the waters edge, especially during green-leaf. Rivergale was tempted to go jump in, to feel the water wrap itself around his body in a cool embrace. Not wasting a second thought, the brown and white tom dove smoothly into the river and emerged to the world underneath.

Shadowpaw had been taking a brisk walk around the territory. The normally silent and reserved apprentice was slowly coming out of his shell, and the breeze through his fur felt better than anything he had ever experienced before. His paws brought him to a bubbling creek, and he followed it until he spied another cat. He stood back, wary of strangers, though he couldnt consider them that anymore. They were clanmates now. He couldnt get up the urge to reach out until he saw the other dive below the waters surface, and at that point emerged from his hiding place, racing to see what was happening.
