Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Vividkit sat in the middle of camp, her extremely young age and brilliant white pelt making her stand out like a sore thumb. What was she doing out here unattended? Actually, what was she even doing? The kit wasn't playing or moving around at all, just sitting there patiently, her baby blue eyes just... watching.
"YOU!" She squeaked loudly, hopping onto her paws and darting forward with a surprising surge of energy. Vividkit ran straight up to a tom she'd only seen a couple of times, her eyes shining brightly with a mixture if curiosity and admiration, "Mr. Bravewolf, is it true you is the Sun Gawd?" Honeystorm
The tom hadn't really been expecting interruption. Interruption from what? Oh, only rubbing the snow white fur across his face from where he'd been... clawed? Whatever you'd consider it, in MoonClan territory. So when he heard his name, Damek sat up slightly and blinked, turning and searching around, to find no cat in sight... until he looked down. Ah. A kit. "That would be me." He affirmed with a slight nod, "Did you need something?"
Vividkit stood up on her hind legs and got as close as she could to eye level with Bravewolf. Up close and personal now, the Sun God would be able to see the beginnings of golden sparkles around her irises, no doubt an indication of her future eye color. She stared at him very intently for just long enough for it to be awkward and then loudly proclaimed, “Thank you for all you do! I love you soooooo much!”
And with that, the white furred she-cat let out a giggle and sprung onto Bravewolf’s face, giving him perhaps the strangest show of affected he’d ever received.
Damek didn't expect what she said, or the fact that her words hit him so hard in the chest that he was breathless, and had to swallow back tears. It had been one thing after another after another, between realizing he was a god, this horrible thing was after him, his dad getting taken to the Regime, one sister disappearing, one brother dead...
Outside of his own family, he didn't think he'd actually heard a word of genuine praise so far, without any of the hints of suspicion that plagued those who'd known the previous incarnation of himself. But he smiled widely after a moment, not seeming to mind the small cat crawling across his face. "Why thank you, Vividkit!"
Vividkit rubbed her cheek against Bravewolf's furiously before eventually clamoring back down to the ground. She looked back up to him with the same admiration as before but her head was dramatically cocked. Even though the tom wasn't visibly distressed in any way, the little white she-cat was intuitive enough to tell that something wasn't right, although she'd never guess why.
"Hey, you aren't too busy, are you?" Vividkit said a bit sheepishly. Her parents had warned her not to bother Warriors if they were busy and that it was best to play with other kits. That being said... he was the Sun God! Maybe that rule didn't apply to him, "Do you... do you wanna play paints with me!?"
That aught to cheer him up! Her eyes were glowing brightly as she eagerly awaited Bravewolf's response.
