Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. He was told he had to do something to honor the solstice events. And worse: it had to be public. For Nightfury, this was a literal nightmare. He actually had to put himself out there for someone he didn't care about in the slightest. The pitch black tom want wrench just thinking about the even he set up. He could only hope no one would join him in his meditation... or at least no one too talkative. The tom set up just at the base of the volcano, again hoping that some of the acrid smells would drive cats away. So there he waited for someone to join, or, better, just leave him alone.
