She hummed quietly to herself and she pushed the pile of debris away, a rough dark green crystal swinging from a string around her neck. It was crudely wrapped on there and brought her peace and comfort. Most warrior apprentices right now would be honing their hunting or fighting skills, but Milkypaw felt there were more important duties to be performed today. After the colder winter season ended and any snow had melted the burial grounds were left a mess. Here lay her ancestors and those clan cats who had come before them and their burial spots were covered and ruined. She enjoyed being here and feeling the serenity of it all. The energy here was clear and pure and helped her clear her mind. But this mess brought distress and she finally decided to do something about it. A few flowers and bushes had begun to sprout as well and she made sure they looked neat and clean.
Now, the sun was dropping in the sky and her stomach growled loudly. When was the last time the calico she-cat had eaten? Milypaw couldn't remember. Oops, she'd forgotten again. She would hunt on her way home, for herself and the clan, but for now a quick rest and maybe a nap was in order to regain her energy. She stretched out in the warm sunlight and purred, feeling better about the day. Maybe tomorrow she would go collecting in the crystal caverns to see what goodies she could find.
