Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It wasn't that rare for Aegis to get hurt - she often put her body in harm's way, after all - nor was it that odd for her to get lost, though that's a fact that she would take with her to the grave. She was reckless in nature, and though she had a good mind she was still rather impulsive. It didn't quite matter how it had happened, but she had managed to get herself lost in a part of the city that she had to have been through many times before. Still, the small she-cat walked with confidence, despite quickly setting sun. Any turn now, she would come across a place that she would instantly recognize, so she shouldn't worry too much - right?

The streets of the city were different from the forest he grew up in, but eventually, everything becomes familiar. The streets and alleyways were a maze for sure, and he could almost pity anyone who found themselves lost around here without the knowledge of the league and their sadistic tendencies. Still, the streets themselves could've been easy to walk, but Bermondsey found the walls and the ledges plenty easier. He always did like looking from higher places. The buildings didn't connect the same way the trees intersected, and it wasn't as easy to leap from one to another, but he had been practicing, on low walls and boarded up fences and all of that, and the late afternoon was often the best time to go for his stroll.
The sun setting illuminated the alleyway with long shadows, and it didn't take long for the gray cat to see another in the distance, glancing towards the walls as if finding their way. His ears flicked with amusement as he sauntered towards the other shape.
"Where are you supposed to be heading?" he asked, still standing upon the short wall, glancing to the direction Aegis was heading. "There's only a dead-end that way."
Despite Aegis' gaze remaining straight ahead, the sudden voice didn't surprise her. In fact, she had expected someone to find her eventually, so Bermondsey's appearance wasn't anything unusual. What did bug her, however, was the way that he was talking to her, but she swallowed her pride easily. She was used to being looked down upon, so she knew how to react: don't. He was probably here to use her as a source of entertainment, hoping to catch her flailing. Well, she refused to give him the chance.
With a quick, sharp glance at Bermondsey, she replied, "There's always another path, if you look for one." She had learned, wandering the streets, that there was typically always some sort of hole that she could fit through, or some objects that she could use to jump. Her small stature may not be good for the way of life that she pushed on herself, but it was certainly helpful when navigating.

He snorted at her reply, how...philosophic. "Surely there has to be easier ways to get over to the other side than to try and climb the wall, no?" Bermondsey was used to the ire in the voices of cats around this place; it wouldn't be home without it. Yet unlike what he used to call home, he was as much an outsider of the league he grew up in as he was a part of it. No longer was he making enemies without a second thought like his father once did, he was simply...observant, his eyes flickering to the wall that stood ahead of the she-cat.
"You never did answer my question though," he shrugged, sauntering along with the other cat, though on a higher ledge, "you know, if I didn't know anything, I'd assume you were lost. Surely you won't refuse another one's help?"
