"I CAN'T BELIEVE HIM" Darksonata stared kicking one of the bones in the bone yard, as it clunked to the ground not to far away "Why would Damek choose YOU to be the next Priestess Promised out of the blue like " He was angry, mostly because their brother hadn't even mentioned his intentions before carrying them out. It was still raining, but he didn't mind the water soaking into his coat, he needed to get some of the frustration out of his system and the only way he knew how to do that was to exercise until her was to exhausted to be angry any more "Why didn't he ask you? It's not that complicated" Jadie
"I'm already over it, Darksonata. It's stupid and he should have spoken with me first but SunClan is literally a cult and there's no easy way out of this for me now. But you... you aren't trapped here like me," Soaringlight wasn't playing around like she normally did along the bones, instead she was just following behind Darksonata, clearly deep in thought. She seemed to be holding up pretty well all things considered but there was a wistfulness in her expression. She had changed, "You should go back to the Regime while you still have the chance. The Ray program will allow you an easy escape and I will make sure no one comes after you..."

"Absolutely NOT" he replied firmly, leaving no room for argument. It wasn't often the the two of them disagreed, but this time he wasn't about to even entertain the idea "Soaringlight my place is by your side, and nothing you can say is going to convince me to leave it" his tail lashed from one side to the other, before leaping up onto one of the ribcages "I can't just leave you here, especially if our brother has that little consideration for your feelings. I'll go and talk to him, have him reverse it some how.Your not going to be happy as Priestess Promised, and I can't just sit by and watch this. It's madness"
"You're right, it was weird to even suggest it. I just... Well... Ever since Blindfaith disappeared and Huntleigh... died... I," Soaringlight wasn't exactly the most particular she-cat, she wasn't sure exactly how to phrase what she was trying to say. She sighed and leapt up next to Darksonata, stumbling slightly and leaning against him for support, "I... I don't know what I'm trying to say. My mind's all over the place these days. Not long ago my family as all I had to worry about, but now there's a whole Clan and a freaking God on my case. All I've ever wanted was to go home to the Regime, yet the longer I'm here the further away it gets."
Soaringlight didn't say it, but the implication was clear: She wanted her brother to live the life that she couldn't. But she also didn't want him to leave. She was just so confused.

Darksonata nosed her cheek gently "Don't worry I'm never going to leave you Soaringlight" he knew that she just wanted him to be happy, but it didn't take a whole lot to accomplish that. Simply being by her side was more than enough for him "I am happiest when I am with you, when YOU are happy" his eyes never left his sister "If you want to go back to the Regime, let's find a way to make it happen. Together"
Soaringlight was the type of cat to cry over such sentimentalities, but she felt her eyes begin to water. Before Darksonata had a chance to notice it, however, she reacted by pressing her face into his shoulder, "I don't want you thinking I'm going soft or anything, but I'm so lucky to have a brother like you. I don't think I could do all of this without your support."
Darksonata was quiet in a group while Soaringlight was strong. When the two were alone together, however, their personalities seemed to change drastically.
"But I don't see how we will be able to escape any time soon. SunClan is in shambles and regardless of how much I hate it, I do care about some of the cats here. I can't leave until I know someone will be here who can really help Littlerstar... and Bravewolf."

Darksonata caught his sister's chin with his paw, tilting her head up to look into his eyes "You don't know how amazing you are Soaringlight" he held her there as he spoke, making sure that he heard the words he had to say "You don't need me. You are strong, independent, and kind. I know you don't like to let other cat's see that side of you, but it is one of your biggest strength's" he slowly released her chin letting his own nose ruffle the fur along her neck
"I don't know what is to come, but what I do know is that SunClan is lucky to have you"
"Oh my god STOP it Darksonata," Soaringlight blushed, pulling away from her brother's grasp only after he'd finished speaking. His words had really struck her core and, as previously stated, she was NOT a touchy-feely kind of cat. It made her super uncomfortable especially when being given compliments she didn't think she deserved, "I don't want to hear any more talk like this. We came here to complain about SunClan not compliment each other... it doesn't suit either fo us well. Let's change subject. Um... how long do you think it'll take for Bravewolf to give up on SunClan and run away from it all like we plan to do?"

Darksonata considered the question for a few moments "I don't think that he will flee...." he said finally after a few moments "Not so long as the clan needs him. Our brother is a lot of things, but even when he is scared he is always there when we really needed him. He has a kind heart to, and even though he didn't ask for any of this I think he will step up to the challenge in the end... He is stronger than he thinks"
"Stronger than I think too, it seems," Soaringlight didn't agree with Darksonata fully. After all, if she did she would have certainly left by now, since the main reason she stayed in SunClan at all was for Bravewolf's sake. If she an Darksonata left, there would be no one left of their core family in SunClan to support him, and she couldn't think of a more lonely fate for him, "Sometimes I think he isn't really the Sun God, just a really powerful elemental... Don't look at me like that! I know it's not true, it's just what I wish. Poor kid has always had it hard. It's not fair that he's trapped here due to agreements he made in another life. He's not the Sun God anymore, not the way SunClan wants him to be."

"Your right, it isn't fair" he agreed, but what in SunClan was? They followed a deity that had complete control, a leader whom could do whatever they wished, and if you were not in complete agreement with their way of life you were dead. At least things here had become a little softer with Littlestar's return, but he didn't trust it. Not when she had been high priestess before and had been the one to kill the sun god originally. Who was to say she wouldn't do the same to their brother?
"there is little that I can do about that, but you are now in a position to start changing things" Jadie
