Silverfringe made sure Sorrowfularia was secure, before leaving to speak with her new friend according to the beads. She had been paired up with Swiffire, a decision that was sure to make her husband jealous even though she was heavily swollen with kits and wouldn't be able to do a lot of physical activity. "Hey! Ready to go on that stroll?" She knew she couldn't go far but the chance to stretch her legs while her mother was watching over her mate sounded divine. pLuto
"I'm ready when you are," Swiftfire confirmed turning to look toward the camp entrance. "How far do you want to go out? I understand you're carrying a litter so I dont think you'd want to be too far away from camp if something were to happen." This was a bit random, but he figured he was there to be her escort while she stretched her legs.

Silverfringe shrugged her shoulders "I already went to SummerClan once, but that didn't go over very well. You are probably right and we should stay relatively close to camp" the silver she-cat led the way into the tunnels, the ground familiar under her paws even though it was difficult to see "Besides I can almost bet that Sorrofularia will have slipped away from my mother before I return, and then I will have to hunt them down and drag them back. I think they are having cold feet about the kits"
Swiftfire nodded as he followed behind the she-cat. This walk was more for her than for him so he would let her lead this adventure. "How far along are you, if you dont mind me asking?" Since he was still young, he didn't quite understand what parents might go through when they were expecting kits to come into the world.

"The kits should be arriving any time now" Silverfringe commented "I thought they were going to make their arrival while we were visiting SummerClan, but it was just some strong false contractions. I wouldn't be surprised if they were born in the next day or two" her pace was definitely not up to her normal par, but walking any distance with such an extended belly made things very difficult "So its even more important that I get my walks out now. Once they get here I will be stuck in the nursery for quite a while" she turned to the tom with a big grin "Word of advice, if you ever get a she-cat pregnant don't forget to spoil her while she is carrying your kits. It's not as easy as it looks" she gave him a little wink before sauntering onwards
Swiftfire gave her a uncomfortable smile as he watched her walk away, unsure of what to say in a situation like this. Was he supposed to say "thank you" or "I'll keep that in mind"? He didn't know anything about kitting and pregnancies. Heck for all he knew, he may never get to experience what being a parent was like. Fortunately for him, though, he was still young and he had all the time in the world to learn...at some point. Maybe? Shaking the thoughts from his head, he followed behind, keeping a close eye on the she-cat. He didn't say anything earlier but he notice her walking become more...difficult.

Silverfringe was going at a slow pace, but for even this was quite taxing. An experienced warrior like Swiftfire would be able to pick up on the raspiness of her breathe, and the slight stumbles every now and again as her feet drug across the sandstone. The silver queen wasn't about to turn back though, who knew the next time she was going to get to come out and just enjoy being out of camp "There are some sunning stones up ahead, I'm thinking we could just bask for a while. I'm sure it will feel wonderful"
"I'm here for anything you decide to do, Silverfringe," he responded. It was a good thing she mentioned the rocks since he was going to ask if she wanted to go back. Maybe a break is just what she needed, some time to get off her paws. "If you ever feel that you want to go back to camp, please don't hesitate to say so, especially if you're having complications. But do enjoy yourself while you're out," he said, offering a friendly smile.

Silverfringe stretched out on the sunning stone "You worry to much" she chuckled. It was pretty bad that this random tom was more concerned about her well being than her own mate. The warm stone felt wonderful against her swollen belly, easing her aching muscles "I went all the way to SummerClan not to long ago, so you have nothing to fear. I will be fine!"
You say that as if it's a bad thing, he thought to himself before smiling if off. "Yes, but you probably couldn't make that trek today," he commented. If anything were to happen to his escortee, he would feel bad, regardless of if she said she was okay or not. Although this was meant to be a casual outing in the territory for the upcoming queen, he still felt the need to make sure she was safe. "While you're sunning, I'm going to on for a little bit. Try not to do anything to strenuous." he stopped and said before padding past the rock and into the brush.

Silverfringe giggled, but did as she was bid and stay put. Placing her head lightly on her paws as the sun beamed down on her from up above. It felt wonderful on her swollen stretched stomach, helping the muscles to relax and stop spasming. She didn't think Swiftfire would have much luck hunting around here though, not with the sun beating down upon them. Most of the prey would be sleeping.
Jeez...it sure is hot today. I guess that's why it's called "SunClan"
The sun was rather brutal for the tom, but that didn't stop him from pushing forward. Luckily for him, along his path, he found a small creek to rest by get a drink of water. "Maybe I should take some back to Silverfringe? She going to need to stay hydrated." he thought aloud. Sitting underneath a tree that was nearby, he observed his surroundings. It was actually kind of peaceful now that he was able to take in the scenery. It's so peaceful I could almost take a nap... he thought as his eyelids suddenly got heavy.
Swiftfire caught himself from falling face-first into the dirt. Shaking the sleepiness from eyes, he stood up and looked for something carry water in before heading back to Silverfringe.
"I have returned," he annouced as he came padding toward the sunning rock. "And I come bearing a gift!"

Silverfringe had already nodded off by the time that Swiftfire returned. She yawned, glad for the nap but gratefully taking the water "You are rather thoughtful, thank you. Any luck on your hunt" she asked, but she didn't smell any freshkill so he had either burried it or had no luck
Swiftfire shook his head. "Anytime and no such luck unfortunately," he responded. He didn't want to admit that he wasn't going hunting but just wanted some time to himself to enjoy the scenery. "If you were napping, we can stay here a little while longer, if you'd like." Silverfringe's yawn must have been contagious since he soon found himself yawning. He would take this opportunity to take a nap but he felt if left them vulnerable, something bad could, and would, go bad. He'd have to suck it up and endure until they got back to camp.

Silverfringe shook her head "We should probably be getting back. I'm just going to have to hunt down my mate after returning any way. I would be surprised I my mother was able to to keep them in line while I was gone."
Swiftfire nodded in acknowledgement. This was a relatively short venture, but the she-cat was pregnant so that limited them a bit, not that he was complaining.
"Any other place you want to stop by on our way back?"

"The river would be nice, maybe we could catch a fish? That sounds nice right about now" Silverfringe licked her lips, obviously thinking quite hard on it "Yes, a fish would be lovely" she rose to her paws, nearly darting into the bushes towards the river "You do know how to fish, right?"
