Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It hadn't been too long since Sweetpaw and Pollendrone had returned to Sunclan but that wasn't stopping the young apprentice from settling in to her new old home, she adored clan life and her favorite part of it was being surrounded by so many cats. Everywhere she turned someone was there, it was so different from her life before when it was just her and her mother and you can be sure that Sweetpaw was taking full advantage of it. Her duo colored eyes were glowing as she looked around camp, today was a special day for her, she was going to officially be given a mentor soon but first she had to find a warrior up to the job.. she got to pick! It was a task she was taking quite seriously and for days she had been talking to and watching each cat to find the perfect candidate but so far her luck had been bad, until today that is. She spotted him from across camp, Silverdragon. She hadn't spoken to him at all since she had been there but something was drawing her to him and she wasn't about to ignore her gut. "HEEEY!" Her cheer filled yell of a greeting echoed out as she bounced forward in the toms direction, her eyes glittering as they stayed glued to him, diminishing any doubt that he was the cat she was speaking to.

Silverdragon had let out a tired yawn as he emerged from the warrior’s den. He wanted to go and check on Alios, perhaps bring her a piece of fresh-kill. The dark gray tom was sifting through the pile of prey when an ear piercing yell caused him to flinch. With narrowed sea-green eyes he glanced around until he found the source of the yell.
Sweetpaw. The daughter of his half-sister who had recently returned to Sunclan. But why was she shouting?
Silverdragon looked around, wondering if she was calling out to one of her siblings. But when he looked back at her, there was no doubt that she was looking straight at him. “Uhm... hello?”
Still bunny hopping she closed the distance between them just in time to hear his return greeting, letting out an excited squeak as she looked up at him. "I found you! You're perfect! I can just tell!" She chirped, leaping close enough to him so that she could wrap her paws around one of his forelegs. Sweetpaw had a strange quirk about touching others when she spoke to them, whether she knew them or not with no regard for the other cats feelings on the matter. So caught up in her absolute perfect choice in a mentor though she had forgotten to actually ask him if he would do it, she simply tightened her grip on his leg. Staring up at him with round amber and blue eyes.

Silverdragon raised a brow, even lifting his paw a bit to try and shake her off. But it was to no avail.
“You know...” The tom said. “This is not how you introduce yourself to another cat.” He muttered. “So... would you kindly remove yourself from my leg and properly introduce yourself? And then perhaps... explain what you’re trying to do here? Or what you need to talk to me about? I am assuming that’s what you’re trying to do here. There’s something that you need to talk to me about, isn’t there?”
"Oh, right! I'm Sweetpaw, and you're Silverdragon! I already know who you are, I know who everyone is they just don't all know me." She ignored his request for her to let go of his leg and continued to cling on as she began to ramble. "That isn't what I wanted to talk about though, but you are right I did want to talk to you! So you see I have to pick a mentor right and I have been searching for daaaays but no cat has been the right one until now!" A high pitched squeal followed her words as she prepared to inform him that that perfect cat to mentor her was him. "It's you! You are the perfect warrior to be my mentor, I knew it the moment I saw you so you must say yes! Pleeeeaaasseeee!" Her eyes grew larger as she looked up at him, waiting hopeful for his response.

The tom couldn’t be more stunned if she had slapped him.
“You knew from the moment you saw me that you wanted me to be your mentor?” Silverdragon echoed. His whiskers twitched as he considered shaking her off his leg, but that wouldn’t work well for him. Instead he kept his paw still as he listened to her ramble. He thought about her request for a moment. He had never been a mentor before. His brother was thrilled with his apprentice. Perhaps he could teach her about boundaries...
“It won’t be easy.” He said. “You’ll be put through the ringer. You’ll be tired, sore, but if you can handle it than I promise I will do what I can to make you the finest Sunclan warrior there ever was”
"Yes, from the very first moment five minutes ago." She purred, in-between his own talking. She wondered for a moment if that was weird, she had assumed that was how it worked for every cat but her wondering was cut short as he continued. He was saying yes! Her paws released his leg and with great enthusiasm she bounced up and down, circling him. "That means yes! It wasn't a no so it means yeeeesss!" She had done it, the very first thing she had ever set out to accomplish in Sunclan and it was a success. "I'll work super hard I promise but you have to keep your promise! Promises are important you know?" She couldn't wait to tell her brothers about this, she was sure they would be proud of her.
Sweetpaw was still hopping around him but she suddenly stopped, turning to Silverdragon with a wide smile. "Do we have to wait until it's official or can we start now?"

Silverdragon could feel his head bobbing as he tried to keep up with her bouncing. She was just full of energy wasn’t she? Silverdragon would have to be at the top of his game if he were to keep up with her. The dark coated tom reached his paw out and gently placed it on her head in an attempt to still her. He wasn’t sure if it would work but it was certainly worth a try.
“We can start as soon as you’d like... which I assume would be now, correct?” He asked as he fixed her with a stern gaze. “I have no problem with that. We’ll have to start with the basics. I assume since you’ve just joined Sunclan that you know nothing of the territory? Or has your mother explained that to you?”
Sweetpaws movements came to a halt completely with the gentle touch of the tom cats paw to the top of her head, though it only lasted a heartbeat before her paws began to dance in place. She was just far too excited. "Yes, we should start now! And momma showed me a little bit, but said it would be up to my mentor to teach me everything so she only showed me enough so I would be safe if I needed to go out for any reason." The young she-cat had been settling in well up until now and it seemed that would be continuing, she only hoped now she could show Silverdragon and the others that she could be the Sunclan cat she was meant to be.
