"Honestpaw, just hold on. I'm coming." Bravewolf called out to the apprentice, struggling all the more despite the cold creeping into his bones. NO, he refused to fail the tom again, not when he'd just found him. Sparks crackled at his paws as he lashed out at the mist once more, this time with more than just simple swipes of his paws, the flames that wreathed through his fur glowing as all pretense of making himself seem normal to the MoonClan cats left, replaced by the desperation of keeping his clanmates safe and getting to Honestpaw.

The flames Bravewolf shot, were consumed by the mist the moment that they left his body. Turning from bright lights, to wisps of smokes almost instantly before dissipating into the fog. The moment the sun disappeared, the attack intensified. The mist constricting it's coils with every movement as Bravewolf struggle against it. It was unrelenting, every where it touched the warmth of Bravewolf's body was beginning to fade and grow stiff. The muscles taunt and unable to move, as the life was slowly leeched from his body. With each heartbeat it became harder to keep blood flowing through his body, getting slower and slower.
From the mist materialized a single paw, it brushed against the tom's cheek sending shockwaves of cold through the once warm flesh "Keeper of souls, I will now make your strength my own" it was the same voice as before, only this time using words Bravewolf would be able to understand. Even if the words seemed awkward and forced. The paw raised into the, air before coming down upon Bravewolf's forehead. Claws searing through flesh, though the skin did not break nor blister. Everywhere the claws touched the fur drained of color, becoming scraggly and unhealthy looking. Some pieces becoming so brittle, that they broke of falling to the ground like a flurry of snow. Valleyrose glanced toward Magnoliablush, her intention being to silently communicate with her sister in a way that only twins could do, only to see another shadow cat grab on to the she-cat and slam her head into the ground. The sickening crack shook Valleyrose to her very core and seconds later she, for the first time, lost total control of herself... and her element.
The flower that she always kept pinned behind her ear began to sprout and grow dramatically, its roots digging into her head and weaving its way around her cranium like a bloody crown. It continued to grow down her neck and shoulder as she slammed her paws on the ground, causing vines, ferns, weeds and even some flowers - whatever naturally grew in the soil - to erupt, targeting the shadow cats in a furious green wave.
The attack wasn't very well aimed nor was it particularly fast. Valleyrose had never used her element to this extent or for fighting. But she wasn't of her right mind, evident as her own blood dripping down her face, dying the whites of her eyes red as the damage she tried to do to others hit her almost just as hard. Roots and vines and even little trees began to sprout around where all four of her paws touched the ground, twisting around her limbs and anchoring her to the spot. She didn't seem to notice.
Damek recoiled as he felt pain across his face, eyes widening as he practically felt the hair itself turn brittle, a few stray pieces floating before him as they floated down to the ground before him as he watched. Instinctively, he touched his face, searching for signs of blood or injury, but there was none, only the feel of the differences where his fur was it's normal silky smooth, and where it was rough like dried out grasses, and he could feel a few pieces snapping away at his touch, the strands pure white when he looked at them laying in his paw. What? How? He could feel the fear creeping into his mind. The only other time he could instantly recall injury was when he'd died, and that had been a goddess level of power. This thing could hurt him. And if it could hurt him... who knew what it would do to everyone else.

Up above, a bright light beamed down illuminating the mist around Bravewolf. The shadow of a cat outlined within becoming clearer, but details still blurred through the thick mist. The cat's paw withdrew, looking up at at the sky "It seems we are out of time" it spoke slowly, the words sounding awkward and foreign. The mist around them slowly beginning to dissipate, peeks of the sky above appearing like skylights. The figure quickly fading, it's voice growing quieter and quiter until it was almost a whisper "Until next time, hu'ulyat ga lametwas".... then it was gone. Leaving Bravewold staning on his own the clearing, able to see the carnage that had befalle the patrol... Honeystorm
[Gore warning XD] As the eclipse broke, the cats in the mist yowled with displeasure as the began to disperse. By the time the mist was gone, so were the cats leaving the clearing eerily silent. The patrol was mostly where they had been before the attack, scattered about MoonClan's old camp. Magnoliablush laid limp near her sister, deep gash on her head from where it had been slammed to the ground, with claws marks around the wound as if they had tried to open it father. Claw marks raked down across her sides, but were not deep. Blood had begun to seep into the earth, pooling around her from where he tail had once been. All that was left, was a bleeding nub. It was only the faint rise and fall of her chest that showed she was still alive.
"Take me to him!!" Tinymutiny shrieked, standing over one of the cats she managed to pin during the fray. Blood trickled down her shoulder from a deep bite wound, and her right ear had been torn "Take me to Oakshade" she slapped the cat across the cheek with her claws, leaving her own wounds. The cat below her didn't speak, only staring blankly upwards with a vacant expression. Whatever had attacked Bravewolf was unknown, but this cat was very mush alive. She slapped him again, and again as the mist faded. It was only the sight of magnoliablush that gave her pause, stopping midstrike "NO!" she jumped off of the cat leaving it battered and bleeding on the ground to go to her side, tears welling up "Little magnolia..." her paw gently stroking her daughter's cheek "You can't die, they will take you to" she crumpled to the ground at her side, franticly licking her cheek "Just hold on"
[Bravewolf or Valleyrose can capture the cat Tiny had HoneystormJadie]
Ravenpaw's attempt at an escape was... short lived. The apprentice could do nothing as the cat lifted him from his paws. He himself was quite the big cat, so the fact that this cat could do made his blood run cold. The cat that held him clearly was more amused by this than anything. It shook him like he was some piece of common prey. Then all of a sudden it stopped and the apprentice went tumbling to the ground. His vision blurred and his hearing rang as he slowly lifted his throbbing head from the earth to see the carnage... and he was terrified. Magnoliablush must have died somewhere in the fray... and the other one caused all those plants to erupt of nowhere. The place truly was cursed.
Bravewolf watched at the mist dissipated, thoughts of his own fight fading as he saw what had befallen the patrol. He was about to move to grab the cat Tinymutiny had... when he spotted Magnoliablush and felt panic rise up. NO. He refused to lose another one to this thing, and rushed over to her side, trying to think of something, anything, he could do to help. What use was a god if he couldn't even save his own? There had to be something, anything, he could do. He didn't even think of the stark white fur on his face, or the cat they needed. He was far more concerned with ensuring the she-cat survived, or at least made it to the isle.
Valleyrose began to regain her senses as the mist began to fade away. The moment she saw her sister laying on the ground she tried to lift a paw toward her but found herself anchored to the spot by twisted vines and other greenery. It scared her, that lapse in control, but not near as much as the thought of losing another one of her family members.
"Magnolia---" She whispered as she began to pull herself away from her leafy bindings. It was only after she'd be totally freed that her gaze settled on a dull-faced cat with blood on his face. Her sister's blood on his face. With Tinymutiny now tending to Magnoliablush, Valleyrose redirected her attention to their attacker and lunged forward reflexively.
"DON'T MOVE!" She warned as more vines quietly traveled toward the enemy cat, twisting and turning around his feet. If he didn't move quickly, he'd be trapped where he stood. Odds were, however, he wasn't looking as his feet but, instead, the growled mass of brown-and-white fur that was barreling toward him with unsheathed claws.
Ravenpaw's assailants had suddenly disappeared, and the tom was quite shaken up. Then that cat made plant spring from the ground at will... how could any cat be trusted to use it well? What would stop her from decimating the entire MoonClan camp if she chose to? His eyes narrowed. There had to be a way around that. There had to be something to making cats like her less dangerous.
