Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Mushroom disliked doing the tasks that he considered as chores. He would rather take inventory behind his eyelids then do some dull hunting or spying on kittypets, rogues or loners. So the large yellow tom had found what he thought was the perfect hiding spot. The lower branch of a tree had become his new resting place. His chin rested against his paws and his eyes were closed. He was dozing off to a sweet dream when he felt something jab his tail.
Typically, Elizabeth wasn’t someone too concerned with how others spent their time. If someone wants to sleep away their day — you do you, dude. But today the haughty she-cat was in a bad mood. And Mushroom had just scared away her mouse, with his pig-headed snores. Her stormy mood inclined her to hack his ears off — she settled for a sharp jab into the tip of his tail. “Don’t you have somewhere better to catch your beauty sleep?” she scoffed as the big yellow tom blinked sleep from his eyes. “You’re spooking all the prey.”

Mushroom let out a rather obnoxious yawn as his eyes blinked trying to focus on Elizabeth. Who at the moment was looming over him. "This tree is rather comfortable. Therefore I've made it my designated napping spot. Have you considered looking for prey elsewhere, or considered that your rather bad at hunting?" He commented his whiskered twitching from hearing his personal comment out loud. It found it rather amusing regardless if Elizabeth took offense to it or not.
(Feel free to step on him xD or push him out of the tree?)
That’s all it took to bring Elizabeth’s dark thoughts to fruition. She couldn’t stand open mockery. She decided she’d skip the ear-hacking. She wanted to see if this tom’s instincts were as quick as his wit. She didn’t utter a word — a cold smile spread across her lips as she placed a dainty paw gently on his hip. A moment later she gave it a shove, sending Mushroom’s heavyweight teetering off the edge, and careening out of the tree! She lazily looked down, to see if he’d survive the fall.

Mushroom hadn’t expect the she-cat to fight back. A paw pressed into his hip and over he went. Loosing his grip on the branch he felt himself plummeting to the ground. He flipped in the air attempted to prevent himself from becoming a splat mark on the ground below. His paws hit the ground below him and he let out a small oof. “Heh I guess I deserved that.” He stated whining when he went to move his paws.
"You deserved worse, truly," Elizabeth ruminated. She was mildly disappointed this insolent tom hadn't turned into a smear on the forest floor, but hey, at least he wasn't snoring anymore. Her frown turned into a sardonic smile as she looked down at him. "I bet that little jolt's got you feeling a lot more awake, hmm?"

"Unfortunately I am now fully awake. How about I make up for my obnoxious snoring and show you a place where you will be able to find more prey." Mushroom offered knowing it was the least he could do for ruining her hurting trip.
Mushroom’s offer sounded like she was being invited into an ice-cream truck. Or a wicked witch was bidding her to sample a shiny apple. She’d just pushed this tom out of a tree — was he really so unaffected? “Tempting offer,” she crooned down at him. After a pause she mewed, “Ok. I’ll allow you to show me this place. But if you try anything indecent, I’ll do more than push you out of a tree.”
