Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
He didn't know where he belonged in this world anymore. He had wandered for what felt like forever before he found his way back to where he began. Perhaps it was a fitting end for him: being given a swift close to his mockery of a story. Had anyone cared to listen, he would've passed on his tale of warning with a mirth filled scoff and dark eyes. When he was young, far younger than he is now, he had thought running away would solve his problems. They had, to some extent; his father had died at some point between when he left and this day, when he pads his way back into the territory. Perhaps he should have been happy about such news, but all it left him was a hollow chest where his heart once was.
His mother had vanished once more in the night as soon as he'd picked up her trail. He had gone to NightClan and spent what time there he could. Found love, fell into it hard, fell out of it harder. Struggled to find a reason to remain in the nocturnal group that he'd tried to call home for so long. Once he lost that battle, he'd gone after the rumors that he'd heard about the she-cat that had brought him into this world only to abandon him shortly afterward to the cruelty of his father.
He had gotten as close as SpringClan, where its sanctuary was confirmed and her whereabouts made privy to him by a strange she-cat who had met him at the border and hadn't run him off. His relief and hope for home hadn't lasted long.
He was tired. There was a time he had longed to no longer be lonely. To find a place in this world.
Now, as he felt his body break down and succumb to the darkness in his mind and the withering of his heart, he wondered if he hadn't snatched away his own sense of peace by leaving SunClan in the first place.
Dragondance gazed at the territory that stretched before him.

Sorbertpeony looked up from her meal only to see a strange cat looming overhead. She had never seen the tom before, so she could only assume that he was an outsider. She looked between him and the meal several times before rising to her paws eating the partly eaten rabbit and dropping it as his feet "You look like you need this more than I do stranger" she commented cheerfully "Here help yourself. The Sun God will provide me with another"
This she-cat wasn't what most cats expected when meeting a SunClan cat. She was cheerful, friendly, and always smiling. Though the paint on her pelt, clearly indicated that she did in face belong to the group that striked fear into almost all the other clan's hearts.
"You should rest a while, just don't cross over our border. THEN I wouldn't be able to be so nice"
Eyes of molten lava and multi-colored fire gazed at the half eaten rabbit now at his feet, expression void, though his gaze held disbelief, suspicion, confusion, and guilt.
“Why?” He rasped, refusing to meet her gaze. He had expected anything other than being given something that would further his torment in this life. Improving his health, even just by feeding once more, increased his time of torture. Perhaps that was her plan. To play nice only to mean the opposite by it. He briefly wondered if it was poisoned. It wouldn’t be the first time he met a cat that had built their tolerance to all sorts of deadly herbs just to watch the life ebb from others.

Sorbetpeony "Why what?" she asked rather confused by the questions
"Why did I give you food? Well you looked hungry silly goose" in her mind it really was that simply "You are one of the Sun God's creatures to, even if you choose to walk in the shadows" she blinked several times "or the crossing the border thing? Oh uh. If someone crosses the boreder I have to take you to the High Priestess or chase you away. AND I'd really rather not"
You are one of the Sun God's creatures too, even if you choose to walk in the shadows.
Dragondance couldn't help the snort of derision at the comment, shaking his head, even despite the fact the she-cat had offered him help and nutrition when he was too weak to do it himself. It was rude, he knew, but the part of him that was in control figured he was tired of niceties and didn't want to appease anyone's easily bruised ego anymore.
Eyes the color of dragon fire turned upward and gazed intently into Sorbetpeony's own eyes. "What if I want you to? Take me to your High Priestess."
