Sean leaned over to the side trying to hack up the liquid, "WHAT THE HECK DID YOU GIVE ME!?"
He managed to sit up and looked at Funk who didn't look the least bit sorry. He immediately slapped Funk across the face before grabbing him closer by the collar, although not at all as forceful as he wanted. His adrenaline was holding back the effects of the sedative, "And did you KISS me?" He practically hissed before relaxing momentarily, "Cause that was a good kiss," He marveled before stressing out again, "Besides the point though!" He let go of Funk and gave him an accusatory look, "How could you?" the last word trailed off as he realized that Funk likely didn't kiss him for any kind of pleasure. Well maybe the pleasure of this, watching him freak out. Still he doubted his sister was going to be happy should she ever find out, she was already touchy about Deal... Sean leaned his head back stroking his hairs shimmery texture to get any gore or dust off of it, "And really? No other options? I heard you throw something, you didn't have to do it that way did you? Well I forfeit, you definitely can have this win," He pouted. His face was still red and he knew it, but he was so deathly pale even the slightest bit of color was going to show, just one of the effects of living underground and indoors your whole life. After a moment of silence Sean added, "Did you also suddenly get the feeling like you can't get up?" It was definitely the exhaustion and the wounds he had, but also his body was just starting to feel heavy in general, like it weighed on him more to lift up his head.

Funk let out a cackle as Sean tried to throw the liquid up. There was no way. It was coursing through their bloodstreams now. There was no escape. "It's a seda-" he started right before Sean slapped him and grabbed him by the shirt. Funk didn't even bother blocking it, letting the stinging warm his already flush face. He didn't pull away, laying somewhat on his side supported by his arm and Sean. "HmHm. Like I was saying, it's just a sedative I found in your medicine cabinet. Not even the strong stuff. We'll be fine." Funk's voice lilted lackadaisically, the drifting adrenaline and sedative doing nothing to help his sagging limbs. "And yeah I did. Thanks. Cause you did nothing to help with it." Funk yawned as he was pushed away, a small oof leaving him as he landed on his elbow. Eyes drained of light but still as mischievous as ever, he lowered his hand from his mouth. The drug did its job, he felt his care slipping.
"Fairly easily to be honest. I've been thinking about those lips for a while and you gave me such a perfect opportunity, I couldn't not do it." This worked out pretty well for Sean now. Funk flirted in his relationship but wasn't very adulterous until just now. The girl's brother no less. That was the kind of messed up thing that gave him life. Now Sean just needed to tell Glow and Funk would be out of the picture. At the mention of the win, he tiredly held up a peace sign, "Victory! And you said no weapons. It was just a syringe but I didn't wanna knock you out cold. The kiss wasn't the only way, but it was worth it just for this." Funk's own freckled complexion was smeared as he leaned heavily on his own hand. "And yeah. It's called lust...Nah it's the sedative."
He covered his face with a hand, his face blushing profusely, how was he supposed to be committed to a kiss like that? Then again he was strangely bothered that Funk wouldn't know he was a good kisser, how dare anyone suggest otherwise. It was only when Funk continued talking that he realized, how tired he was getting "Oh," Sean said, although wanting to say so much more than that. He could feel himself relaxing and decided to just lie down on the floor. He stared up at the ceiling for what felt like sometime, but probably wasn't. He took the hand away from his face flopping it next to Funk, "Did you really kiss me because you found me attractive or did you just want me to squirm more?" His expression seemed serious, but only as serious as he could feel right now, "Be honest." His fingers traced the ground with uncertainty.

Funk fell over some, resting his head on his bicep and rolling his leg to keep him on his side. It was a strange feeling, a crushing that he expected to pass by him easily. That's how things normally went nowadays. Drugs just didn't get to him the same way they used to. Though now he only felt heavier. Maybe it was the weight of his sins finally getting to him. Moments passed in silence, he could only somewhat make out Sean's profile and expression. Least he was rich, this carpet was slightly comfortable. His fingers lazily twiddled a fiber when Sean's hand landed by him. At the question, he looked down at the fiber before letting go, his hand barely grazing Sean's as he considered his answer. "A little of both. Mostly the former." Funk shrugged, well barely, his eyes tracing the Sentinel's manicured nails. "I don't know. Glow and I were watching some movie in the theater, and then you popped out from behind us at a jumpscare and you were so surprised you spilled popcorn all over us. Then you hopped down next to me and started talking trash again. And the whole time, even with how annoyed I was, I just kept...watching your lips move in the dim light. Ugh, it's real slimy now that I say it out loud, but that was the moment I wanted to kiss you first." Funk just talked, barely registering the words that flowed out.
It was at this point that Funk could feel that the floors were literally heated. Sean locked his hand around Funk and turned his head to look at him, "No, that's really cute," He said with a starry eyed expression. He definitely was not the type to get sedated often and his low tolerance for it was obvious. He let go of Funks hands and clumsily pushed his glasses back up, "That's been bothering me," He said with a soft smile. He tapped at Funk for attention, "Your lips are okay, but I like your hair more. I would pet it like, all day," He laughed, "Like I'm not allowed to have long hair," He said moving his fingers threw his own hair, "it can't pass this length, but yours is so pretty and long. I could style it, get a heating iron out, brush it. Heh, you're really scary too, oh my gosh you know what?" He asked trying to lean up suddenly only to fall back onto the floor, "You're-You're like a tiger! Yeah, you're pretty, but could kill me in an instant! Will you be my tiger?" he asked looking meaningfully into Funk's eyes like he quite possibly asked him the biggest question of his life.

Funk, in fact, did realize the floors were heated. It was so strange, a luxury he would never had been aware of if he wasn't lying here at this moment. It was a huge show of money, a luxury he could never afford until he started selling. It somewhat dawned on him how entirely out of his element he was and he couldn't help but laugh. Everything made him laugh. Sean's reaction, the way the room was spinning. His hand almost tickled when Sean grasped them. It was cute? It didn't feel cute. He'd have to apologize to Glow later, when he could think clearly. "Thanks." He muttered when Sean pushed his glasses up. He tried to keep up with the conversation, have some input other than a mmhmm or a laugh, but he struggled. He'd let Sean style his hair, he supposed. Nothing would have felt better than hands running through it right now. Though he was a little miffed his lips were just okay. He blushed at the compliments, absently scratching at his cheek. "Be your tiger? Wh-What. Does that even mean? I sit aroound and look pretty yet lethal all the time? I doo that already though. What's the difference?" He wanted to ask if Sean thought he could tame him, but he wasn't sure he wanted the answer from this Sean.
Sean seemed to stare up at the ceiling for a moment and then at Funk, “Wait, what about a tiger?”
It was at that moment that the backdoor busted open. Sean glanced behind him out of boredom , “Come in!” He called out with a bit of laughter, but managed to lean himself back up against the wall, he was beginning to feel more tired by the moment. He just wanted to sleep and yet his heart was weirdly racing too much to do that. He tried to regain focus. What did he know? He was fighting with Funk and then he was given a sedative and sedatives are bad… Cause… His gaze focused on the ceiling again, the chandelier above them was just so beautiful… He looked back at Funk, oh right he had been fighting with Funk, wait, hadn’t he already been through this thought process before?
Xuxa walked in, you could smell her from a mile away, the odor of dozens of chemicals, oils, lotions, and conditioners she had to regularly apply to herself just so her skin didn’t fall off. She wore tall black combat boots the buckles stretching just below the knee, she wore dark blue jeans and a black leather coat with ebony fur along the collar. Her hair was half shaven on the right while on the left it was a bit long longish, the bangs fell below her chin, but the back of her hair was spiked up and tall. In her hair was a singular long midnight blue streak that funneled down her bang. But more dominantly shown were her wounds. The whites of her eyes were pink with cobalt blue eyes that looked more like narrowed slits. Her scars were thick and bulgy and while her skin showed a bit more color than the average Renegade it was either dry in some patches or massively oily. In her hand was a cane with a silver eyeball at the top, her steps were wobbly, but capable thanks to the gain as she moved closer towards them. She stopped by Funk and Sean looking at the two, she pushed down a blue scarf from around her jawline, revealing the lack of an ear on her right side. “I’m almost curious to ask what this is. The nemesis and sentinel all in one place,” her voice sounded broken, out of tune, she continued, “Almost,” She said observing their distracted expressions carefully, “I was going to just take Sean, but you’re an extra bonus, Funk E’tan so I’ll take you too. I have a feeling you’ll each resist very little.”

"I'm the tiger. Sean. Hahaha." Funk said with such conviction he put his hand on his chest and promptly fell over onto his back. "And you're... god, what are you?"
Wait, someone else was here? He asked to not be followed, even if he was sure he was followed anyway. While his tolerance was higher, Funk found no reason to sit up off the ground. It was so warm. What was he even doing before this point? He fought Sean. Then he kissed Sean. Nice. Then this happened. God, he hoped it wasn't a League person here to check on him. They did a good job of staying in the shadows and silently judging him. He wasn't for being actually judged right now.
Following along behind Xuxa was an entirely new character. One that normally wouldn't be caught working with others like this. Behind long light brown hair were sharp features and even deadlier green eyes. Compared to her coworker, she dressed surprisingly formal. Wearing an elegant midnight blue dress that just barely touched the ground and high heels was not really assassin attire. But if they were going to some rich Sentinel's house, Yuki wanted to look the part. And she needed few reasons to wear something nice. Long nails drummed against the side of her leg as she looked around the room. "What a surprise." Her words were smooth as she faked surprise, placing a hand on her cheek, "And they've even weakened themselves for us. How chivalrous."
"But that's where you're wrong, people." The gravity hadn't hit Funk, not that he would have reacted differently if it had, "Cause I'm... the tiger." He lifted a hand and curled his fingers like a claw, but it fell to the ground unceremoniously.
Sean grinned widely at Funk, yeah that’s right, he was the tiger, it was all making sense now. He looked at Funk with wild concern when he didn’t know what he was, yeah what was he? Was it bad that they didn’t know?
He observed the people walking in, he recognized Xuxa by her smell, he found himself weirdly agitated by it in a way he never had before. By her side was someone he had never met. He didn’t know much about her aside from the fact that she really didn’t like him. This was probably due to him not being there to defend her mother. While usually this crushed him every time he thought about that day he found that he just didn’t care. What he did care about was that neither of them had taken their shoes off, rude.
Xuxa seemed to be trying to figure out what happened and why Funk was here, had he attacked Sean or were they friends? In a sense she wanted to know, use it against them, but it was too hard to tell. They clearly attacked, but she also saw that there was tea on the table so clearly they were previously hanging out. However she doubted she was going to find out what happened with them acting the way they were. Xuxa knelt down by Funk, trying to figure out what they were on, but clearly it wasn’t enough, they weren’t asleep. She motioned to Yuki, “Let’s just knock them out fully, they’ll be easier to take back that way and better won’t have any idea where they are.” She had some pills on her, but also a syringe filled with a mysterious liquid she blended herself. But that would be fun for later, right now she grabbed out the sleeping pills she had on her, it was quite a few and would do the trick, Yuki had her own. Xuxa looked back at Funk, “Alright, how about you be good and take these, if you spit them out though I’ll force them down your throat myself.” With that Xuxa tried to put the pills into Funk’s mouth, but wasn’t afraid to cram them in there if she found any resistance.

Really, what was Sean? He could kill too. Maybe. But also, Funk was way prettier. Shame about the Regime, he wished Sean could grow his hair out longer. Maybe if they get out this, Funk should just bust him out of here. For this moment, he copied the same wildly concerned look that decorated Sean's face. Course, Funk couldn't keep it straight and broke it with another laugh.
He didn't recognize either of them. Well, he could smell one of them, and it agitated his nose a lot. Funk couldn't help but rub it repeatedly. Not keeping track of the conversation at all, he didn't even react much when Xuxa knelt by him. She said something about knocking them out and going somewhere. Really, a blow to the head would probably knock both men unconscious. He didn't offer that information, though he let out a giggle at the thought of Sean getting hit again. When the pills were pressed against Funk's lips, he very casually attempted to swat the hand away. "Wait wait. Can i get some water or something here? I'm parched and dry swallowing these things will be hell on my throat?" He asked deliriously, somehow still blocking Xuxa's attempts.
Yuki was a hired gun. Nothing more or less. She should have taken her shoes off, but that would have left footprints. And she wouldn't get to appreciate the sound of her heels clicking against the marble floors. Not having to wander far to find some fancy drink station, she poured two glasses of water and one of wine before casually walking back to the group. "You guys couldn't have ended up on the couches or something?" Yuki asked dryly, a light tone as she kneeled next to Sean and propped him up. "Here. These should help that throbbing headache of yours." Holding out the pills and the water, she had no idea if the sentinel had a headache. But the dried blood around his nose suggested something hitting him on the face, so she took a chance. And even if those words were wrong, she had no issues forcing the pills down as well. But hey, if a little niceness meant stealing a drink of wine, she would be the sweetest of them all.
Xuxa's eyes narrowed, "I don't owe you any kindness, I'll give you the same amount of mercy you gave to-" She felt a glass of water reach into her hands and gave an annoyed look as if asking really? to Yuki. Xuxa looked at Funk, "Fine, you can have some," She said, taking a long sip of the water she swished it around a few times before spitting it back out into the cup, giving it a few shakes before putting it up to Funk's lips, "Here, drink up, you wanted it," Xuxa said casually pushing the pills into his mouth and pressing the water up to his lips. She hated Sean, but she had a feeling Funk attacked him and if he attacked one member of the Regime, he was threatening everyone.
Sean looked tired, his vision blurring in and out. He was very limp when Yuki moved him up a little, but did wince at her touch, he felt sore all over. He tried to look back at Funk, but Yuki was blocking his view. Why did Funk have to do this to him? This was the worse feeling in the world between sleep and suffering. He only opened his mouth up a little, but felt he had opened his mouth far more than he did. Xuxa looked impatiently at Yuki, "Y-You-ou-ou and Razzz, you're alwayss too nice," Xuxa said, her voice wobbly like a ghost, it happened when she was stressed, her mind had trouble using all parts of her brain at once and that included speech. Xuxa looked back at Funk and Sean to see if they were out. Sean was already knocking out when they came so it only took moments for him to close his eyes.

Yuki shrugged, and sipped her wine. There was no point in being mean if she expected the Sentinel to remember her face. Even for an assassin, making enemies wasn't her forte. Especially such influential ones. She slipped the two pills into Sean's mouth and poured some of the water, rubbing his throat like he was a cat she was trying to give medication too. "It never hurts Xuxa. We'll have plenty of time to be mean later, no?" She asked sweetly, nails running up and down Sean's back as she took another sip. Nice and cool, just the way she liked it. Maybe he had an eye for it.
"Gross." Funk had some consciousness, enough to see Xuxa swish the water around before forcing it into his mouth. Did he deserve this? Sure, he did this to Sean. But Sean's was with a soft tender kiss, not a glass that kept bumping against his bottom teeth. Oh well, he couldn't care. The last fragments of reality were slipping away in no time, but suddenly his eyes snapped open. "Sean wait! I know what you are." The Nemesis sounded the most excited he'd ever been in his life, ignoring the slow swirl in his eyes and on his tongue. "You...youuuuurrrreeeee aaaaaaaaaaa" but he couldn't quite get the idea out and slowly faded from consciousness.
By the time they had woken up Xuxa had already tried four separate times to wake them up to no avail. She left Nikko and Raspberry in charge of watching for them to wake up fully while her and Yuki could go upstairs and relax. Funk and Sean were each tied to a chair back to back with one another, there legs were tied to the chair legs and arms forced to their sides, but the weirdest part was that they had a blindfold on. It was especially off since they had seen Xuxa and Yuki's faces and they definitely weren't afraid to say their names so there was something they didn't want them to see.
They could tell that the floors were carpeted, like really nicely carpeted where it felt like you could sink right into it. The next thing they could both notice was the sound of two kids chatting.
"Oh, oh, hey, can we play angry birds?" Raspberry asked, trying to take the boys phone. The boy must have not minded because he didn't reply and the girl was probably content because she didn't make much sound after that except for a few sudden excited noises out of glee from the game.
Sean had shifted only once, before becoming still again, faking that he was still out. The stiffness of the rope and cold of the new environment already woke up senses to realize that he was in danger. He knew eventually they were going to do something, but also realized that because his pain was only from the previous fight that they had yet to do anything to them. Likely waiting for them to wake up and if that was the case he didn't want to show signs yet that he was awake. What he didn't know was that Nikko was staring right at Funk and Sean, watching their every move carefully, he was attentive now.

Another strange part to their predicament was that Funk was practically blind without his glasses. Really, it would have been easier if they had just taken his glasses. Instead, he still had his glasses on. Just over the blindfold. So now he had to squirm occasionally and pray they didn't fall off. Everything ached, but what else was new? If his legs weren't strapped down, he'd be tapping his foot. If his hands weren't forced to his sides, he'd be tapping them on something. Or playing Angry Birds. That sounded fun. And he was somewhat tired of just sitting here. So he angled his head slightly towards Sean. Potentially able to guess he was playing asleep but eh. "Hey, Sean. You awake? Listen, have you seen the newest season of Stranger Things? This is just like when //slight spoilers for Stranger Things 3 //
"Aww ones awake and I'm not even done playing..." Raspberry complained.
Sean decided to pretend to remain asleep, hopefully he could buy them both time by faking it while Funk could try and maybe get something out of them.
"Hey, are you really Funk E'tan? I've never seen him before, but if you are why don't you look attractive looking?" Nikko asked. Sean burst out laughing, dammit! Now they were in trouble and had no way of getting it out of it. Sean tried his best to move his hand to at least touch the rope, maybe he could untie himself, but he couldn't. He tried to reach for Funk's, but he couldn't reach his either.
Nikko looked at Sean confused, "No, I-" He seemed more unsure of himself and decided to move on to a different question, "Would you say that you kill a lot of people?" He asked with interest. From the sound of Nikko and Raspberry's voice they could tell that they were young, Nikko probably a preteen and Raspberry sounded even younger than that. The only reason they weren't getting Xuxa and Yuki was- hard to tell. Raspberry was engrossed in her game and Nikko either valued that or wanted to know more, specifically about Funk and Sean wasn't exactly against that if it bought themselves time.

Funk waited for a response. Course he got none. Guess Sean was playing the hard game. Fine, he'd wake him. Even if it meant knocking them both down to the floor.
Well, that the thought. Till some other kid started speaking. A little spark of happiness bloomed in him, like he got to go. Yep that's me. The one and only. Least till that second part came out and Funk could only hang his head. Course, he was wearing a stupid blindfold and his glasses over it. He felt them fall into his lap and heard Sean's laugh, throwing his head back to try and hit him but missed. "Ouch kid. Hurting my feelings here. That doesn't keep Steve "The Hair" Harrison down though." Besides, he was wearing a blindfold and was tied up. Sure, this was someone's favorite, but this wasn't a very flattering angle to him.
"Would you say water is wet? What about you, Scarface Robin?" Sure, he could needle the kid. But he knew he'd get a rise out of Sean so that was way more fun.
"Okay, I gotta admit this to you, but I have no idea what TV show you're referencing," Sean said without seeming to care very much on what Funk thought about that, "And I have 0 kills, I'm not cruel like you are. What group are you even from, kid?" Sean was lying, there were rumors about him that he killed the first girl he went out with and those rumors were entirely accurate, he definitely did. He felt he owed it to her to admit what a horrible person he was, but he never could force himself to say it.
"Unimportant," Nikko said quickly before walking around to see if he knew of Sean, but he didn't so he wandered back over to Funk. He looked to the stairs and back at him before taking the blindfold off of Funk. Nikko definitely looked young, in fact he looked like a girl, he had long beautiful light blue hair like a mermaid. His skin was a bit dark, but his eyes were a piercing blue devoid of any emotion, however he did not hold a stiff expression and instead one of curiosity. He put his finger to Funk's lips, "I joined them because I didn't have money to hire Xuxa to do two hits. I still don't, but if I free you will you promise to kill two people for me?" He whispered before withdrawing his finger away, "Just nod if you agree." His eyes looked back to Raspberry, she was distracted, but if she noticed what he was doing she would tell on him.
Sean kept his mouth shut, but wanted to tell Nikko that was a bad deal because Xuxa was an assassin wanna be who sucked at killing even though she had the passion to hurt others. Even now it would be a miracle if Xuxa actually wound up killing him and Funk. Although secondly he wanted to scream at Funk to just agree regardless if he felt like killing or not. The kid sounded young, they would be able to leave with him and then abandon him, especially since it sounded like he was a loner.

There was no way Funk could lie. He was the Nemesis. If he didn't have blood on his HANDS when he started, he would have by now. Really, he wouldn't have been accepted if he never killed anyone. But hey, least he killed the people he dated after the date. If he found it necessary or entertaining. Generally, after they wake up from the anesthesia, they'd complain enough to be killed. Those were stories for different days though. He had something more important right now.
"Sean! You pay the ungodly amount for Netflix on all those fancy tvs and you don't even watch Stranger Things?! Least we at the League just share our password but still." He wouldn't have noticed Nikko taking the blindfold off, but the lights were an ungodly bright. He looked like how all people with glasses look without their glasses. Good, just a little off. Made him want his glasses. He could pick out the vague colors and shapes that made Nikko up, but there was no detail. "Ugh. I'm coming back over and we're watching it. You like sci-fi thrillers right? It's the story of 4 boys from Hawkins, Indiana and--" Really, he would have prattled on about the plot and so forth and made it no fun to watch. So thanks Nikko for stopping him with a finger to the lips.
Would he get out of here for two hits? That was it? Funk could do that in his sleep. I mean, sure, it was a kid. But eh, he'd taken hits from a parrot before. Anything was possible. So he nodded.
"SHH," Nikko shushed Sean looking over to Raspberry who looked up for just a moment before looking back down.
"Hey, I do watch Stranger Things, but I don't really remember their names that well, it's been a while, I haven't even watched the new season," Sean whispered.
Nikko looked back at Raspberry and whispered lowly to Funk, "When I untie you, I'm going to need you to immediately cover Raz's mouth or she's going to tattle on us," Nikko said, fitting Funk's glasses back onto him once Funk agreed.
Nikko worked slowly in order to not draw Raspberry's eyes, but managed to get Funk untied.

"Stop lying to me. If you can name the entire cast of Pretty Little Liars, and I know you can, then you can remember the 4 boys of Stranger Things." Funk yell whispered back at Sean, almost missing Nikko's instructions. That's what he was concerned about? A tattle tale? Well, they were kids. This became clearer as Funk's glasses were put on him and the world came back into focus. Wow, he really was young.
"Got it. Now relax Sean. I'll take care of you." Funk whispered, pulling his hands away from the sides and rubbing his wrists. He didn't really have anything to cover Razz's? mouth. Scanning the room, he spotted a small yet long decorative pillow that would do the trick. And the girl playing Angry Birds he guessed was Razz. A part of him had a bad feeling about this, but he figured for now it was the drugs. He needed out. As soon as his legs were untied, the Nemesis jumped up, grabbing the pillow before covering the lower part of her face with the pillow, wrapping his arm around in a way where the phone stayed in her hand. He wasn't that much of a monster. He just wanted to leave.
